Finding Ship Records For Your Pomeranian Genealogy
I was fortunate when I found the name of this ship on my grandfathers Fred's naturalization papers. |

He came over in 1925; by then the passengers had to provide much more information than asked for in the 1800's. I was somewhat surprised that he come over on such a classy ocan liner. If this ship were still around I would certainly visit it. Unfortunately, the liner was sold in 1935 to Italy, bombed in WWII as it sat in the harbor at Naples, and then scraped at Spezia in 1947. An inglorious end to a glorious liner! |
